First Freshening Two Year-Olds

Nubilop Acres Sassy Crickett

     SS:  *B Regehrs Alginon's Ace
Sire: Blue Thunder Sequoia
     SD: CGS Borderline Sun Wynonna

    DS: My Enchanted Acres Heartthrob
Dam:
CH Nubilop Acres Mystique Cricket
     DD:
Nubilop Acres Vu's Mystique

DOB:  March 2008

Sassy Cricket is a very stylish doe and very similar in appearance to her dam, Cricket. She is a smaller doe being slower to mature. She was only shown once last year placing 2nd in her class and was not shown in 2009. She has a very rounded escutcheon area. Her disposition is much like her dam's, very easy going and yet has to have her nose into everything

Bred to: Phantom Due: April 2010 Does: $300  (1st Doe Reserved)

Nubilop Acres Star Lilly

     SS:  Sweet Harvest Yankeedoodledandy
Sire: Little Bic's Honey's Hot Shot
SD: CH Little Bic's Sweet Honey

    DS: My Enchanted Acres Heartthrob
Dam: Nubilop Acres Pansy's Jasmine
     DD: Nubilop Acres Orchids Pansy

DOB:  March 2008

Dam: Nubilop Acres Pansy's Jasmine

If Star Lilly has a rear udder like her mother with a longer fore udder, she will certainly be a doe that will remain in our herd. Unfortunately, we did not keep her dam as we had some significant problems with mastitis with her. Star Lilly has the general appearance and dairy character to remain in our herd - we just have to wait on that mammary system. She was shown in the 2009 show season as a dry yearling, winning 3X Junior Champion, 1X Reserve Junior Champion, and 2x Best In Show. Her dam classified VG86 (VVVV) as a first freshening two year-old in 2008

Bred to: Way Too Hot Due: April 2010 Does: $300

Nubilop Acres Orange Blossom

SS:  Little Bic's Honey's Hot Shot
Sire: Nubilop Acres Gi's Way Too Hot
SD: CH Nubilop Acres Charisma's Gigi

DS: Prairie Sky Farm Pearls Equity
Dam: Nubilop Acres Honeysuckle BLSM
DD: CH Nubilop Acres Scoobee Doo

DOB:  May 2008

Orange Blossom is a doe that as she matured over the summer only got better and better. Star Lilly was beating her at the beginning of the show season but as the season progressed, Orange Blossom was winning over her herd mate, Star Lilly. I like the looks of this doe. She is smoothly blended with a nice front end, level over her topline and a very high and wide escutcheon area. Her dam had a very pretty fore udder extension, but did not have the height of rear udder attachment that we like to see, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that Way Too Hot will give her that. During the 2009 show season she was 2X Junior Champion and 2X Reserve Junior Champion.

Bred to: Palace Knight Due: April 2010 Does: $300

Yearlings to Freshen

Nubilop Acres Piper Roze

     SS:  Sweet Harvest Yankeedoodledandy
Sire: Little Bic's Honey's Hot Shot
SD: CH Little Bic's Sweet Honey

    DS: *B Regehrs Sassy's Fortune
Dam: Nubilop Acres Grand Finale
     DD: Nubilop Acres
Sexxi Lady

DOB: March 2009

I very much like the looks of this doeling and she certainly is very worthy of being shown. However, we did not show many kids in the 2009 show season. She excels in general appearance. The only place that I would criticize her would be to give her a little looser skin and a little wider rib spacing - nothing major, that is for sure. I love the general appearance of her dam, Grand Finale.

Bred to: Sweet Justice Due: May 2010 Does: $300

Nubilop Acres Cricket June Bug

SS:  Little Bic's Honey's Hot Shot
Sire: Nubilop Acres Gi's Way Too Hot
SD: CH Nubilop Acres Charisma's Gigi

    DS: My Enchanted Acres Heartthrob
Dam: CH Nubilop Acres Mystique Cricket
     DD: Nubilop Acres Vu's Mystique

DOB:  April 2009

June Bug is one of my favorite doelings. I think it is simply that she reminds me so much of her paternal granddam, Gigi. I love everything about this doeling and the fact that her dam is Cricket makes her even more special. June Bug was only shown twice in 2009 going 1st in a class of 11 and 4th place in a class of 20.

Bred to: Sweet Justice Due: May 2010 Does: $400 (1st Doe Reserved)

Nubilop Acres Tu's Golden Girl

     SS:  Sweet Harvest Yankeedoodledandy
Sire: Little Bic's Honey's Hot Shot
SD: CH Little Bic's Sweet Honey

    DS: *B Regehrs Sassy's Fortune
Dam: Nubilop Acres Scoobee's Tutu
     DD:
CH Nubilop Acres Scoobee Doo

DOB:  April 2009

Golden Girl is one of the doelings we did show in 2009 winning Junior Champion. She is a very stylish doeling and certainly catches everyone's eye with her level topline and that wide flat rump that has been passed down from her dam and granddam. With the pedigree she has behind her we are expecting her to freshen very nicely.

Bred to: Sweet Justice Due: May 2010 Does: $400

Nubilop Acres Flashy Lady

Flashy Lady is one of the loosest skinned and widest ribbed doelings. She was shown in 2009 receiving a Junior Reserve Champion. She is going to be a little slower maturing, but I'm willing to wait on her. She is the littermate sister to our junior herd sire, Nubilop Acres Lady's Phantom. Unlike her brother, Phantom, she is a little finer boned.

Bred to: Sweet Justice Due: May 2010 Does: $350

Nubilop Acres Sweet Honey

     SS:  Sweet Harvest Yankeedoodledandy
Sire: Little Bic's Honey's Hot Shot
SD: CH Little Bic's Sweet Honey

    DS: *B Regehrs Sassy's Fortune
Dam:
CH Nubilop Acres Oatmeal's Brandi
     DD: CH Nubilop Acres Oatmeal

DOB:  April 2009

Sweet Honey was not shown in the 2009 show season. She is a smaller doe and is going to be a little slower in maturing. All the cards are stacked in the deck for her to have a very nice mammary system. She has her dam's beautiful topline and a very open and rounded escutcheon area. Her disposition is so very easy going just like her dam.

Bred to: Sweet Justice Due: May 2010 Does: $350

Nubilop Acres NightLove Lady

Nightlove Lady was shown in the 2009 show season placing consistently in the top fourth of her classes. She is going to be a tall doe, at least that is the way it appears now. She has a perfectly level topline which, I believe, Poetic Justice had an influence in. Her disposition is very easy going. Her pedigree is phenomenal with permanent champions and beautiful mammary systems.

Bred to: Palace Knight Due: May 2010 Does: $400  (1st Doe Reserved)

Nubilop Acres Gi's Sweet Thang

     SS:  Little Bic's Zoe
Sire Stagelight LBZ Poetic Justice
     SD: CH Stagelight RR Pukahani

DS: Little Bic's Honey's Hot Shot
Dam:
CH Nubilop Acres Charisma's Gigi

     DD: Nubilop Acres
Tap's Charisma

DOB:  April 2009

Sweet Thang was not shown in the 2009 show season but certainly, I believe, would have done well. She is very closely related to Nightlove Lady, both being sired by Poetic Justice. She is a very treasured doeling as her dam Gigi has only given us two daughters, her being the second with Lovely Lady being the first. We have great hopes and expectations for this doeling

Bred to: Palace Knight Due: May 2010 Does: $400  (1st Doe Reserved)

Nubilop Acres Pap's Oregano

SS:  Little Bic's Honey's Hot Shot
Sire: Nubilop Acres Gi's Way Too Hot
SD: CH Nubilop Acres Charisma's Gigi

    DS: Nubilop Acres Passionate Lover
Dam: Nubilop Acres Ginger's Paprika
     DD: Nubilop Acres Marigolds Ginger

DOB:  April 2009

Oregano got off to a slow start at birth being very small and is finally catching up with her peers. We kept her dam, Paprika, as a yearling milker this year. Her dam is a little smaller in stature but has done a lot of growing this summer. Her dam has beautiful general appearance and a beautiful rear udder with proper teat placement. We would like to see a little longer fore udder extension, but feel that should improve as she matures. Oregano's maternal granddam is sired by Heartthrob. Oregano will be our youngest yearling milker to freshen this next spring being born the end of April.
