CH Nubilop Acres Scoobee Doo
I don't think there is anybody that has Nubians that has traveled the same show circuit as we have in the last several years that does not know Scoobee Doo. Scoobee is Dale's doe and he is very proud of her and
rightfully so. Scoobee is the highest classifying doe we have ever raised, classifying EX92 as a six-year-old. She is a powerful doe with a wide chest,
tremendous depth from her heart girth clear down through her barrel. She has a very beautiful, capacious mammary system, both rear and fore with a tremendous area of attachment that milks down to nothing. At her peak production she was milking 18# per day. She has those gorgeous ears that her sire is so great about passing on to his offspring. Scoobee was shown the last time in 2008 as a six-year-old. At the 2007 ADGA Nationals she placed 8th in the
Five Year-Old class as well as being part of the 2nd place Senior Get-Of-Sire. Her lifetime show record includes 5X Reserve Senior Champion, 7X Senior Grand
Champion, 3X Best of Breed, 3X Best Udder of Breed and 2X Best Udder Of Show. We are praying for another set of kids out of her this coming spring -
we would even be happy with just a single, be it a doe or a buck.

Charisma's Gigi
Gigi is one of those rare does who comes along and takes your breath away. She is very elegant in the show ring with those beautiful, bell shaped ears, beautiful breed character, deep bodied with a wide chest floor, and a lovely mammary system. Gigi had only given us one daughter,
Nubilop Acres Lovely Lady, until this past spring when she presented us with another daughter,
Nubilop Acres Sweet Thang. She is the dam of our senior herd sire,
Nubilop Acres Way Too Hot, and now our junior herd sire,
Nubilop Acres Sweet Justice. Her daughter,
Lovely Lady, freshened as a first year freshening two-year-old this past spring and has already attained her permanent champion status. Gigi has proven that she can produce offspring just as nice as herself or even nicer, and yes, she is very milky peaking at 16.5 pounds a day. Gigi was shown at the 2007 ADGA Nationals and placed 2nd in the
Four Year-Old class with 3rd place udder, as well as being part of the 2nd place Produce of Dam and 2nd place Senior Get Of Sire. In the 2009 show season she
was 5X Best of Breed, 4X Best Udder of Breed, and 2X Best Doe In Show. Her lifetime record now includes 5X Senior Grand Champion, 15X Best of Breed, 10X Best Udder Of Breed, 4X Best Senior Doe In Show and 3X Best Udder In Show..

Simone
Simone is a very powerful doe with tremendous width in her chest and
beautiful chest extension. Where I criticize her the most is her topline, tending to be roachy. She has a beautiful udder, probably one of the nicest in our herd being very high and wide in the rear with a long, smooth
fore udder attachment. She has had numerous first udder placings in her classes. Simone was shown at the 2007 ADGA Nationals
where she was 17th place in the Three Year-Old class, as well as being part of the 2nd place Produce of Dam. She is the half sister to
Gigi, sharing the same dam. Simone sustained a shoulder injury late this past summer which will
probably take her out of the show ring permanently. Her show record for 2009 includes a Senior Grand Champion and a Best of Breed
win at a Nubian Specialty Show. Simone's lifetime show record includes: 3X Reserve Grand Champion, 2X Senior Grand Champion, 2X Best of Breed and Best Doe In Show.

Beautiful Lady
~Sold~
(after
freshening)
Beautiful Lady is another powerful doe being wide in the chest with lots of depth through her barrel. She again has a very balanced mammary system, proper teat placement with a tightly attached fore udder and nice width to the rear udder. However, we'd definitely like to give her more height in her rear attachment. We feel like we lost a little height in rear attachment when we compare her with her dam. We are very proud of her yearling milking daughter,
Tender Love Lady, and will be repeating that breeding for 2010 kids. Beautiful Lady did very well for us in the 2009 show season winning Reserve
Senior Champion, Senior Grand Champion, 4X Best of Breed, Best Udder of Breed and Best Doe In Show. Her lifetime show record now includes: 2X Reserve Junior Champion, 2X Junior Champion, 2X Best Junior Doe In Show, 3X Senior Reserve Champion, 2X Senior Grand Champion, 4X Best of Breed, Best Udder of Breed and Best Senior Doe In Show.

Oatmeal's
Brandi
Brandi's dam, CH Nubilop Acres
Oatmeal, is a littermate sister to Gigi. Brandi is a 2nd freshening three-year-old, being level from hooks to pins with a flat wide rump, levelness of topline and nice width through her chest. She has a
nicely balanced mammary system with a beautiful, tight fore
udder extension and nice height and width in the rear attachment. If I were to fault this doe, it would be in the size of her teats, as I'd really like to see them a little smaller. Her first daughter,
Sweet Honey, from this past spring looks just like her. In the 2009 show season she had several first udders of class, 3X Reserve Senior Champion and 2X Senior Grand Champion. Her lifetime show record now includes 4X Reserve Senior Champion and 2X Senior Grand Champion.

Mystique Cricket
Cricket is one of those surprise does we were not expecting to turn out as nice as she did as her dam did not have much of a mammary system, especially the rear attachment. Cricket's sire,
My Enchanted Acres Heartthrob, has made a
phenomenal improvement in her
mammary system when compared to her dam. He is doing this consistently in his daughters as well as improving rumps. Cricket has a beautiful front end assembly - nice tight shoulders and
beautiful chest extension with lots of width in her chest. She has a beautiful, flat broad rump with tremendous depth of body to the point that it almost makes her look short in body BUT that she is not. Her mammary system is beautifully balanced with proper teat placement, a very nicely extended and tight
fore udder as well as a wide rear udder, just needing a little more height to it. She did very well in the 2009 show season winning Reserve Senior Champion, 3X Senior Grand Champion and Best of Breed. Her lifetime show record now includes 2X Reserve Senior Champion, 3X Senior Grand Champion and Best of Breed.

Gi's
Lovely Lady
Last year I said that I couldn't wait to see Gigi's first daughter freshen. Happily, it was well worth the wait as she definitely did not disappoint us. As a first freshening two-year-old she has already attained her champion status. Hopefully, this gives us somewhat of an idea of what her littermate brother,
Nubilop Acres Way Too Hot, is capable of doing. Lovely Lady is very classy in the
show ring and seems to love being there. Unlike her mother, she presented us with a set of twin does this past spring. We retained one,
Nightlove Lady, and sold the other. At least she is not as stingy with doe kids as her dam,
Gigi, is. She was shown in 2009 placing 3X Senior Reserve Champion (one of them at a Nubian Specialty), 3X Senior Grand Champion and 3X first udder of her class. It was quite exciting to see her dam,
Gigi and her competing for Best of Breed a few times.

All
That Pizzazz
Unfortunately, we did not get Pizzazz linear appraised as she did not freshen until mid June and we were classified the end of May. She is a long bodied doe being very level over her topline. As was her dam, she is slow to mature and needs to deepen down in her
heart girth and barrel, which will come with time. In general appearance and mammary system she is a lot like her dam. Pizzazz has a long
fore udder extension, but when she udders out I would like to see her a little more smoothly blended. She has good height and width in her rear udder attachment as well as being tightly attached. She does have a beautifully shaped udder. However, I would like to see her teats placed more properly underneath her. If her teats were placed as they should be, I believe she would classify an EX in mammary system. She was shown in 2009 receiving some first udder of class placements, Senior Grand Champion and Best Udder of Breed.

Nubilop
Acres Stitches Patches
~Sold~
Patches has a very sweet disposition and from a general appearance standpoint is very pleasing to look at. She excels in dairy character with a very level topline, a wide chest floor and good chest extension. She has a beautiful fore udder extension being smoothly blended. As far as rear attachment, it is very snug, but she definitely needs better teat placement which keeps her from placing high in her classes. If we could place those teats where they are supposed to be, she would be towards the top of her classes. Needless to say, in the 2009 show season she was normally within the top half of her classes and a few times doing even better than that with a 4th place out of 16 at the Iowa State Fair.

Nubilop
Acres Grand Finale
We knew we had to come up with a unique name for this doe as she was the last daughter ever sired by
Regehrs Sassy's Fortune - thus, the name Grand Finale. She is a beautiful doe being very dairy, which was one of the strongest traits of her sire. She has that loose, soft, pliable skin with wide, open rib spacing and there is plenty of room to put a pretty udder which is exactly what she did. She has a beautiful high and widely attached rear with an adequate, tightly attached
fore udder extension. Again, with Grand Finale we would like to place those teats a little differently, but she has nice shape and size to them. This is a doe I expect to be very competitive in the next couple of years. She presented us with a doeling this past spring,
Piper Roze, who I really like. Grand Finale started out the show season as a yearling milker and then in late June entered into the two-year-old class simply lacking in maturity to be real competitive in her classes, but nevertheless, held her own pretty well. Her granddam,
CH Nubilop Acres Foxxy Lady, classified EX90. In the 2009 show season she pretty much placed in the top third of her classes and sometimes in the top fourth of her classes.

Acres Stylish
Lady
Stylish Lady did very well for us as a yearling milker this year. She is a little slow in maturing, but I love the mammary system this doe is showing us. She is a doe
that I believe is only going to get better as she matures. We showed her at 12 different shows in 2009 with the largest classes being 12, placing 2X 1st, 4X 2nd, 4X 4th, 1X 5th and 1X 7th as well as 1X first udder of class.

(after

Paprika is a slow maturing doe, but with beautiful general appearance - so level over her topline, smoothly blended and so sharp over her withers. She has a very small mammary system, but very correct with good height and width in her rear udder attachment. She has proper teat placement and size and an adequate
fore udder being tightly attached. She loves the show ring and loves attention. This is a doe that our classifier told us is only going to get better as she matures. She was shown in the 2009 show season placing in the top half of her classes. She is a doe that I also expect to only get better as she matures.

Acres Cherrie Blossom
Cherrie Blossom has a lot of permanent champions in her background. She is a
Heartthrob daughter with a perfectly level topline and a level, flat wide rump. Cherrie Blossom's dam,
Tutu, as a first freshening two-year-old classified EX in mammary and her granddam classified EX in mammary. Unfortunately Cherrie Blossom's dam,
Tutu, developed untreatable mastitis as a three-year-old which pretty well ruined her udder. Cherrie Blossom has a lot of permanent champions in her background so we are expecting the same out of her. So far, she has not let us down. She was shown in the 2009 show season 12 times in classes as large as 12, placing 6X 1st, 1X 2nd, 3X 3rd, 1X 6th and 1X 7th. She was 1st place yearling milker at a Nubian Specialty and was 5X first place udder of her classes.

Love Lady
Tender Love is a slow maturing doe, but what a beautiful package. Just give her another year or two. She is another
Heartthrob daughter with that perfectly level topline and that beautiful flat level rump. Her
mammary system is small, but very well balanced with perfect teat shape and size, placed well on the udder floor. She has a beautiful
fore udder extension being very tight and snug. AND I love the color markings of Tender Love Lady. Her overall mammary system is an improvement over her dam,
Beautiful Lady. She was shown eleven times in the 2009 show season in classes as large as 12 placing 2X 1st, 4X 2nd, 1X 3rd, 1X 4th, 2X 6th and 1X 7th. She will be a doe to watch for in the next couple of years.
