Freshening Two Year-Olds

Lovely Lady
I can't wait
to see Lovely Lady freshen. She is the only daughter out of our
beautiful Gigi and a littermate
to our herdsire Way Too Hot.
Lovely Lady has a smoother topline than does her dam and if she
freshens with as nice of a mammary system as her dam, we will be
excited beyond words. She has shown well for us winning a Junior
Champion and Reserve Junior Champion in the 2008 show season.
We'll be taking this young lady to Poetic
Justice and with the beautiful mammary systems in her
pedigree, this should be exciting.
Nubilop
Acres Stitches Patches
Patches
is a doe who the judges either really like and she stands
at the top of the class or they like her just so-so and she
stands in the top third of the classes. She did win a Reserve
Junior Champion this 2008 show season, but was not quite able to
get that Junior Champion. This doe has a beautiful
escutcheon area - way up there and very rounded. Being a
daughter of Hot Shot and with
her dam having a nice mammary system, she stands a chance to
freshen out nicely. We will be taking her to Way
Too Hot in the hopes of giving her kids a little more dairy
character.

Acres Grand Finale
We knew we had
to come up with a unique name for this doe as this was the last
daughter ever sired by Regehrs
Sassy's Fortune - thus, the name Grand Finale. She is a
beautiful doe being very dairy which was one of the strongest
traits of her sire. She has that loose, soft, pliable skin with
wide, open rib spacing and there is plenty of room to put a
pretty udder. Her granddam, CH
Nubilop Acres Foxxy Lady classified EX90. She did very well
for us winning two Reserve Junior Champions and one Junior
Champion in the 2008 show season. We are taking her to Hot
Shot as the combination of Hot
Shot and Fortune works
very well.

Acres After Midnight
Nubilop Acres Sassy Crickett
These two
sisters in some aspects are not at all alike. Midnight is the
longest bodied doe, but Sassy Crickett has it over her in
overall general appearance even though she is the smaller of the
two does. I believe at this point Sassy Crickett has the highest
and widest escutcheon area of the two. Both of these does have
very soft and pliable skin. Midnight is the easiest going of the
two and her sister, Sassy Crickett, simply has to have her nose
into everything. Midnight did not see the show ring, but Sassy
Crickett was shown one time at the Missouri State Fair placing
2nd in her class.

Acres Star Lilly
If
Star Lilly has a rear udder like her mother with a longer fore
udder, she will certainly be a doe that will remain in our herd.
Unfortunately, we did not keep her dam as we had some
significant problems with mastitis with her. Star Lilly has
the general appearance and dairy character to remain in our herd
- we just have to wait on that mammary system. She was shown
three times in 2008 placing 1x1st, 1x2nd, 1x3rd and winning a
Junior Reserve Champion. Her dam classified VG86 (VVVV) as a
first freshening two year-old in 2008.

Stylish
Lady
Stylish
Lady has shown well for us this year receiving a Reserve Junior
Champion. She is a growthy doe with nice length and depth
of body. We were excited to have a doe with some spots as that
doesn't happen very often in our herd. nfortunately, her
picture does not do her justice .

Acres Cherrie Blossom
Cherrie
Blossom has a lot of permanent champions in her background. She
was shown five times in the 2008 show season and is a doe that
either stood toward the top of her classes or a little further
down the line. As is typical with Heartthrob
daughters, the escutcheon area on this doe is beautiful. One
thing that Heartthrob
did consistently was make tremendous improvement in mammary
systems and rumps. Considering that Cherrie Blossom's dam,
Tutu, as a first freshening two
year-old classified EX in mammary and her granddam classified EX
in mammary, we're hoping that this passes on to her.

Peachy
Blossom
Peachy
Blossom was shown five times in the 2008 show season placing
3x1st and 2x2nd. She never quite was able to win a Junior
Champion. However, she is one of my favorite doelings and I find
her very exquisite to look at in the show ring. She has that
certain style and poise - just a classy young lady. Her
pedigree is awesome!

Acres Tender
Love Lady
Tender
Love was shown only once being beaten by three of her herdmates
and standing 4th in the class. She is another daughter of Heartthrob
who we are expecting to put on a beautiful udder. She has a
wide, level, flat rump and an escutcheon area very similar to
her herdmate, Cherrie Blossom. She again
has a lot of permanent champions in her pedigree.
